Something like google translate but plugged in websites like MO that would provide an immediate and reliable translation of any document available online, taking into consideration the context (for example based on arxiv subfields of math for MO).

Apr 16, 2018 at 20:43 | comment | added | Robert Bryant | Unfortunately, I could not locate my copy of Bonan's paper (which is a shame, since he gave it to me himself) and our library does not have it. I have asked them to retrieve a copy from another library. In the meantime, I looked at the review in MathSciNet, and it gave essentially the same account (in English) of the contents that I gave yesterday (but with a little more detail). When the library provides me with a copy, I'll report on whether it contains any additional results that were not mentioned in the MathSciNet review. Is there anything specific you are looking to find in the article?
Apr 15, 2018 at 20:05 | comment | added | Robert Bryant | I am pretty sure that I have a copy of Bonan's 3-page paper in my reprint files in my office. If you don't need a literal translation, I can write a short summary in English sometime tomorrow when I go in. My memory is that Bonan's main results are the construction of the parallel differential forms in each case and the sketch of the proof that such manifolds are Ricci flat. At that time, of course, no one knew whether any examples (even local ones) existed whose holonomy was the full group $\mathrm{G}_2$ or $\mathrm{Spin}(7)$.

Apr 15, 2018 at 3:15 | comment | added | Willie Wong | it would be helpful for questions like this if you would include the full citation information of the paper. at the very least, author?
