First, there is a well-developed notion of separable extension of algebras, I think originated from Auslander-Goldman paper on Brauer groups of commutative rings. Second, if you have some specific questions about tight closure, may be it is better to post them. The theory is mature enough that well-posed questions should have a good chance of being answered. | |
