Dec 20, 2017 at 11:54 comment added Todd Trimble I really wouldn't call Wittgenstein a mathematician. Some of his work is in philosophy of mathematics, but that's about it (and I wouldn't say that qualifies).
Dec 20, 2017 at 11:21 comment added polfosol @SergeiAkbarov To be honest, I don't know much about Wittgenstein and his works. I just read the wikipedia article I mentioned in my answer. The reason I brought this up was because of a scene I remember from the movie Oxford Murders, where the professor talks about Wittgenstein and his great discoveries during war (How ironic!).
