For the outsider it's quite hard to tell - and at first sight it sounds a bit ridiculous: to derive the size of a giraffe from considerations about the ratio of the electrical to gravitational forces between two protons taken to the nine-tenths power. (Excuse me if the answer is all too obvious - I just don't get it.) | |
