In a recent result with Shay Moran, Pavel Hrubes, Amir Shpilka and Amir Yehudayoff, we show that the answer to a basic question in statistical machine learning is determined by the value of the continuum, and is therefore independent of the ZFC set theory. The paper will be available on Arxiv within a few weeks. Here is a link to that paper: https://arxiv.org/abs/1711.05195
