May 26, 2017 at 17:41 comment added Clay Cordova Thanks Jim. My (perhaps incorrect) suspicion is that I am looking for a Mackey class with integer (as opposed to U(1)) coefficients. In the example case discussed above, the difference between the representations could be captured by $H^{2}(G,\mathbb{Z}_{n})$. The question is given a representation $V$ of $H$ how do I know what coefficients to look for, and what is the general construction of cohomology element assigned to $V$.
