It seems to me that, if $A$ is a flat graded $k[t]$-algebra, then the Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt theorem follows (every graded $k[t]$-algebra gives rise to a natural filtration where the multiplication by $t$ is the "inclusion"). | |
