Jan 2 at 14:13 comment added Tom Copeland A conjugation duality underlies relationships among any UIP of binomial Sheffer sequences formed from $h(t)$ and $h^{(-1)}(t)$ and the pair of Appell Sheffer sequences with moments $t/h(t)$ and $h^{(-1)}(t)/t$. This leads to a simple classic formula for the Bernoulli numbers and polynomials in terms of the Stirling numbers and polynomials of the first and second kinds and the integer reciprocals $1/(n+1)$.
