Nov 4, 2016 at 18:47 comment added Ben An observation: the Brauer-Severi schemes of the (quaternion) algebras with $i^2 = j^2 = t$ (at least for $t \not=0$) are well known and given by the equations $tx^2+ty^2+z^2=0$. Just as the algebra, the double line is the degeneration as $t \leadsto 0$.
