The same idea works for other regular polygons, and I made images for pentagons, heptagons and so on, which you can find on my blog post at jdh.hamkins.org/no-regular-polygons-in-the-integer-lattice. (The code accept $n$ as input, and makes the image for an $n$-gon.)
