In the end of my original questions I posted the link to a question of mine on Stackexchange. With this question here I wanted to clarify if Borel-Cantelli is applicable to prove something concerning fair coin tosses. Iosif Pinelis' example shows that this strategy won't work for my usual question. I would be glad if you could take a look at my question on Stackexchange (and probably say why that question is in general 'negativ' as well)! Thanks! | |
