Actually there are some deep results of maximal possible distance between the space and its dual in the asymptotic settings. However, for the three dimensional case I think that very little is known. There are even some polytopes affinely equivalent to its dual, so that the distance is one. But as far as I know there is no characterization of such situation. | |
