started sum at $n=1$
May 31, 2015 at 19:15 comment added GH from MO Note that at $n=0$ the denominator $2^n-1$ is zero. Hence I updated the question and my response by omitting the $n=0$ term and changing $\frac{1}{1-z}$ to $\frac{z}{1-z}$.

changed "full rank" to "finite rank"
May 31, 2015 at 19:07 comment added Richard Stanley @DuchampGérardH.E.: thanks, I have corrected this.
May 31, 2015 at 18:48 comment added Duchamp Gérard H. E. [the infinite Hankel matrix $[a_{i+j}]_{i,j\geq 0}$ has full rank] didn't you mean finite rank ?
