You probably should state more clearly a) how you'd like to have the Hilbert class field defined and b) what may be assumed as known; your question, for example, only makes sense once the existence of the Hilbert class field has been proved. Perhaps the best way to phrase the question might be to ask for the quickest proof of the equivalence between Weber's and Takagi's definition of a class field. | |
