Running the homology Serre spectral sequence, I think we get nontrivial entries $\mathbb{Z}[\frac{1}{2}]$ in $E^2_{0,4k}$ (since $\pi_1(B)$ alternatingly acts by a sign or trivially on the cohomology groups of the fiber). So I think this doesn't work out as intended.. | |
