Feb 2, 2015 at 2:28 comment added David White Hi Martin. Thanks for the pointer. That was actually the article we began with in December (along with his Complex Networks paper). We're now reading his book with Easley but it's a lot of material. One way to phrase our general project is to recast this work into the language of intersection graphs, to better mimic IMDB data (where nodes are sets of actors). One question we've been trying to figure out is if anyone has generalized Kleinberg's model so that it allows undirected weak ties (chapter 20 of the book). Do you happen to know the answer?
