Obviously I did not know what I was talking about when writing that the proof of the formula for $h_p^{(1)}$ is harder. As you point out, one does not need Eichler to prove it! I should have been more careful. Lastly, I guess the (perhaps uninteresting) question on liftings remains. Cheers! | |
