Jan 3, 2015 at 14:08 comment added Fred Daniel Kline I think that as an individual becomes more accomplished in her specialty, her employer rewards her with promotions. Each step up that ladder requires more time for non-specialty duties. Therefore, less time for creativity and thus fewer papers.
