As stated the plumbing of two copies of the contangent bundle of a sphere (see work by Abouzaid and Smith here) is not a counter example to 1, since you can find two disjoint cocords which generates (in fact this might work in general), but it is a counter example to 2. since one can prove that a connected Lagrangian does not generate (I believe). | |
