On each of the mentioned fora people immediately reacted that my proof was not new. Each time it turned out that they vaguely recalled the proof which shows that Fermat numbers $2^{2^n}+1$ are relatively prime while my proof was based on Mersenne primes--an essentially different type of an argument. | |
