I've surveyed the literature for known examples, but most of the studied examples involve multiplicative terms that couple $x$ and $\delta$. In 2-D, Sel'kov model, which is compatible with my constraints, is known to exhibit an Hopf bifurcation. I also demonstrated that a saddle-node bifurcation (involving equilibrium points and/or limit cycles) can happen. I wasn't able to find, or construct, examples for other bifurcations. | |
