Apr 14, 2014 at 9:31 | comment | added | Wouter M. | @GerryMyerson: function f takes a partition as argument; f(n=2) is intended to mean the sum of f over all partitions of n. Btw: conjecture tested overnight to n=52. Computationally, summing f over the partitions is much faster than iterating the differential equation. So, as 'counting' goes, the conjecture is not much good.
Apr 14, 2014 at 9:14 | comment | added | Wouter M. | @GerryMyerson: yes, I tried to be more explicit : f(n) at value n=2. Overkill becoming murky.

Apr 13, 2014 at 23:47 | comment | added | Gerry Myerson | Better, thanks, but, what does $f(n=2)$ mean? Same thing as $f(2)$?
Apr 13, 2014 at 23:10 | comment | added | Daniel Parry | That was something I missed when I was editing it. It was my fault and not the OP's fault. Sorry.
