Aug 7, 2023 at 4:09 comment added plm Thank you. If i checked well there is no answer or even comment on noncommutative differential geometry (or topology), as promoted for instance in Connes's work. That's a pity because i was looking for applications of that strand of noncommutative geometry. Anyone feeling like trying even vague comments ? That would be appreciated.

Mar 19, 2013 at 7:15 comment added isomorphismes Charles, I'm not an expert on NCG but it seems to me that most of the phase spaces in the real world are NONcommutative. You drink after pouring into the cup, marry after dating (or at least the order tells us the culture!), put the car in drive before pressing the gas, and so on. Euclidean distance seems a special case in this regard.

Feb 8, 2010 at 23:30 comment added Charles Siegel While algebraic geometry is my primary interest, I'm curious about anything applying it to more traditional geometry.
Feb 8, 2010 at 23:23 comment added Kevin H. Lin In light of the answers and (probably) your interests, maybe you could add a parenthetical "(algebraic)" in front of "geometry" in the title.
