The three-manifold described above is the total space of the Euler class $n$ circle bundle over $T^2$. It follows from the Gysin sequence that the cup product of the pullbacks of the two generators of $H^1(T^2; \mathbb{Z})$ is a non-zero torsion element of order $n$. | |
