Do you know a more precise one? I didn't mean to suggest that this approach was original; I just mentioned it because Bianchi's analysis, which gets quoted a lot because it was the first, seems kind of roundabout to me and doesn't put the emphasis on getting the information directly from the curvature operator, which seems natural to me because it's where the local invariants that distinguish the different homogeneous metrics first show up. | |
