So is moving horizontally (after finding one vaguely relevant paper by some author, scanning other papers of that author to find a more relevant paper, or even better, a survey). Gravitating towards papers that have a high prior probability of containing a good survey of results and "speaks your language" (e.g. if you recognise the author as someone who does a good job in this regard) also cuts down the search time significantly. | |
