Feb 19, 2013 at 13:41 comment added user9072 I wrote my answer independtly of yours, I am know wondering regarding the best upper bound you mention; it is better than anything I know/can find; I know of certain improvements of the (log p)^6 I mention to r^4 (log p)^2 or something like this, with r the numebr of distinct divisors of p-1. Could you please point me to the result you mention.
