It's getting late, I somehow read "Riemann" instead of "Bieberbach", and thought of de Branges's (later) interest in proving the Riemann hypothesis. I was under the firm believe that Bieberbach is considered as proved by de Branges, while there were some issues early on (also some actual ones). And there are other (simpler) proofs meanwhile. | |
