It seems a curious omission in the number theory section, as well as the modular function $j(\tau)$ or the Dedekind eta function. Some of my suggestions for this question are not designed to be new examples to many mathematicians. They indicate that I think those examples are fundamental, which might not be as obvious to mathematicians outside those fields.
