Sep 23, 2012 at 8:48 comment added Axel Thank you Allen, your answer clarifies things, especially for me, a non-expert in topology. I think following your simple $CW$-reasoning it should be more or less easy to see why cupping with Thom class the cohomology of $B$ one has Thom isomorphism.
