I am a Professor of mathematics at the University of Washington in Seattle. I received my Ph.D. in 2000 from UC Berkeley, advised by Hendrik Lenstra, and was a Benjamin Peirce Assistant Professor at Harvard until 2005. My interests are in elliptic curves, modular forms, algorithms in number theory, and mathematical software. I started and run the Sage open source mathematical software project (http://sagemath.org).
