A mathematician turned programmer. I used to be very interested in functional analysis and set theory and to dabble in general topology. These days I go through phases of being interested in it again, but can no longer claim a great deal of in depth knowledge about them. I'm currently working on a paper with a friend (J Bytheway on this site) which sits at a slightly bizarre intersection point between Banach Space geometry and point-set topology, so will be asking a bunch of strange questions on that front.
