Representability of finite metric spaces This is just the Kuratowski embedding or $L_\infty$ embedding alluded to in Tom Leinster's and David Eppstein's comments. (In enriched category theory terms this is the Yoneda embedding.) I would say that there is nothing specifically tropical being used here. |
