Stiefel–Whitney classes in the spirit of Chern-Weil If you are interested in Cech-cocycles representing Stiefel-Whitney classes you could look at: link.springer.com/article/… I know that this isn't exactly what you wanted, but Cheyne's answer seems to imply that what you wanted isn't possible anyway. |
