I did a PhD in analysis (1991) under Dan Voiculescu. My work is
now related to computational mathematics: Monte Carlo
simulations of error-correcting codes over noisy channels.
I keep an interest in computational mathematics, including
PARI-gp and the MPFR library.

I have used the newsgroup sci.math since the early 1990's to
considerable profit.
I am very green as MathOverflow goes. For one thing, I'm still searching how to add comments [not answers] ; also, quite
