I just found this paper, which gives an example in which the real and complex version of the norm are different. This answers part 1 of my questionThe tensor in this example is also symmetric, but not which provides an example for part 2 , because the example in that paper does not have the symmetry property that I specifiedas well. Should I edit my question instead of answering it? |
