How to find the function of a graph with a TI-83 (or at all)?

How to find the function of a graph with a TI-83 (or at all)? [closed]

I am taking a series of absolutes from a pressure temperature chart, and from these absolutes I need to find the function. The problem is, I don't know how to generate such a function. Anyone able to help on this or maybe tell me how to use my TI-83 to do the work for me?

For question on how to best build a fit from a given set of data, you may want to ask instead at stats.stackexchange.com. For how to use your calculator, you may consult the calculator's manual. I vaguely recall the TI-83 manual being fairly thick and comprehensive. – Willie Wong May 9 2011 at 21:18
