what is a Galois Hull?

Same as the Galois closure, I think? So if E/k is a finite extension, then the smallest Galois extension of k that contains E. This question is sort of at the border of what is MO acceptable, because if I'm not mistaken, even a cursory Google search turns up the answer. – Todd Trimble Feb 4 2011 at 14:58

Seconded; though I find it amusing that this question is now the number one Google result for 'galois hull'... – Thomas Bloom Feb 4 2011 at 16:10
@Todd: thanks for the info. – Uday Apr 1 2011 at 12:00
