# multivariate hypergeometric distribution

hi I'm working on a problem where $\bf{X}=${$x_1,x_2,...,x_N$} has a multivariate hypergeometric distribution $p(\bf{X}=x)=\frac{\binom{N}{x_1}\binom{N}{x_2}\ldots\binom{N}{x_N}}{\binom{n}{T}}$.

I'm intersted on papers or books that deal with the probability of a certain type of vectors and order statistic of the k'th element or so...

I am not sure what exactly I want but I only want to see what can I do to deal with these kind of problem. For example if I want the probability (or an upper bound of it) of choosing a vectors with the first 5 elements greater than 10. –  nahum Sep 28 '10 at 10:32
