My question is very simple: is there a mathematical content in a mahjong game?

Sorry, please be a bit more specific. It's not really a question about mathematics, it's a question about mahjong. – Scott Morrison Oct 29 at 4:04
That said, game theoretic questions are certainly welcome on mathoverflow, you just have to ask more questions with more content. – Scott Morrison Oct 29 at 4:06

I've never seen a probabilistic analysis for mahjong in the same manner as a card game like poker. It's arguable that mahjong has a lot more combinatoric/etc complexity, but aside from this issue I have no reason to suspect the analysis would be any more difficult.

Perhaps you have a more specific question?

My question to you would be - why would mahjong be harder to analyze than a game like poker?
