In proof of the famous results in the world, which used the analytic property of zeta function extended nearly to the whole plane, especialy s<0. A single example is helpful, too.

I can't see what the question is here. – Robin Chapman Jun 16 2010 at 10:19

But none in your posting :-( – Robin Chapman Jun 16 2010 at 10:29

Ideally MathOverflow questions should be precise and focused, but all I can make out from this is "Tell me examples of the applications of the zeta function". Perhaps this is because your question isn't written very clearly. At any rate, questions of the form "Tell me about X" are not really what MathOverflow is for: see the FAQ. – Ian Morris Jun 16 2010 at 10:32

I have to agree. I can't find a question here, other than maybe "Tell me about zeta" which should be answered by a trip to wikipedia. Also, you claim in the comments that Gamma isn't analytic on the imaginary axis, and as Robin pointed out, you're incorrect. – Charles Siegel Jun 16 2010 at 11:31
