i have two sets of data, set A and Set B. i have plotted these data as set A is on x axis and set B is on y axis, now i need to find a relation between these datas such that i can say that B = f(A).

this is and abrupt data and i need to find what function f can describe the relation between these data.

if some one can guide me the techniques to find this, i shall be highly obliged.

regards waqas

This post is attracting downvotes because (A): it does not appear to have very much to do with research-level mathematics, and (B): it is quite vague and might not have an actual, definite answer. The quesion has been closed. As remarked above, it seems likely that this is off-topic for a site devoted to research-level mathematics. It is hard to be sure, because the question is also not written in a way that a mathematician can understand. In particular, you say you have two sets $A$ and $B$ and are looking to find a function between them. Mathematically speaking, this can always be done unless $B$ is empty and $A$ is nonempty. But practically: you must have some relation between $A$ and $B$ that you have not mentioned at all, making your question unanswerable in its present form. – Pete L. Clark Jun 14 2010 at 14:42
