The bicovariant differential calculi on quantum-$SU(n)$ have been classified (by Schmudgen I think) and have been shown to have non-classical dimension. My question is whether or not the bicovariant differential calculi on quantum-$U(n)$ have been classified, and if so, what dimensions do they have?

I have no idea, but I'd simply write to whoever did the classification on the $SU$-case, because they are very likely to know! – Mariano Suárez-Alvarez Mar 11 2010 at 17:03
