P-finite sequences are a superset of C-finite sequences. While doing programming work, the question came up what generalizations or supersets of P-finite sequences have people described. In other words, are there definitions of sequences that, intentionally or not, include the P-finite sequences? Are they still rings? Are they in whatever way generated by functions?
