I am trying to find a formula with an integer parameter to identify all x for which f(x) is an integer.

f(x):= 17*(99x + 391)/99

Is it feasible?

I do not think this question is appropriate for MO. I recommend checking the FAQ for a list of sites where this will be a more appropriate question. As a hint towards solving it yourself, try simplifying the function by dividing through by 99 and multiplying by 17. You should find your answer that way. – Ben Weiss Jan 25 2010 at 0:44
MO is for questions of interest to mathematicians. You may want to try some of the other places listed in the FAQ. Also, your title is misleading since you don't want solutions in the integers, you want rational values which make that expression an integer. – Douglas Zare Jan 25 2010 at 0:45
I have flagged this to be closed. This question is not at the level appropriate for MO. You should try some of the other sites suggested in the faq. – GrĂ©tar Amazeen Jan 25 2010 at 0:46
