i have 6 multivariate polynomial equations, each in 6 variables, and with 2 parameters. I want to know which range of parameters will allow for a purely-complex valued solution of the six variables. alternatively, which range of parameters will ensure that all the solutions will be real. I read in another solution that in theory this can be done using grobner bases. My equations are quite complicated, and it would be infeasible to do this by hand. Does Mathematica have a computable method for solving such a problem? Thank You
