<p>One topic that I would cover is the St. Petersburg Game (or <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St.%5FPetersburg%5Fparadox" rel="nofollow">paradox</a>). Daniel Bernoulli's solution is the basis for expected utility theory and the rivalry between himself and his cousin Nicolas just makes it more fun.
