I do not wish to fall into the language-game that is philosophy, and have begun developing thought-experiments that are based purely on mathematics, and the mental processes which allow us to perform mathematics. May I post an example thought-experiment, so that we can evaluate what responses participants come up with?</p> http://mathoverflow.net/questions/81083/is-this-a-place-to-test-thought-experiments-of-a-mathematical-nature Comment by happyseaurchin happyseaurchin 2011-11-16T21:30:23Z 2011-11-16T21:30:23Z Well, I have worked in isolation, mostly as a humble math teacher, so my blog is also in isolation... I clearly got overly excited when I encountered this site, and wanted to engage the community. I understand now it is about fact exchange, and expert system, not an experimental space. I shall bring up the question in meta as a last attempt. Thanks. http://mathoverflow.net/questions/81083/is-this-a-place-to-test-thought-experiments-of-a-mathematical-nature Comment by happyseaurchin happyseaurchin 2011-11-16T16:05:59Z 2011-11-16T16:05:59Z perhaps it may be useful if someone with enough reputation creates a &quot;thought-experiment&quot; tag...?
