If possible one that deals a little with MATLAB. I have an little knowledge of Real Analysis and fourier transforms. Wavelets i have only had a brief introduction to.

Thanks

Edit: Sorry for the vague state of the question, I was hoping for a text that would give a decent background to time-Frequency linear methods including; FFT, windowed FFT, Filtering & wavelets. Also an introduction to non linear signals and the related methods.

Some methods of particular interest are the smooth windowed Wigner-Ville,Goertzel's algorithm and Prony's.
http://mathoverflow.net/questions/110083/understanding-discrete-cosine-transformation/110124#110124 Answer by Zarken for Understanding Discrete Cosine Transformation Zarken 2012-10-19T23:50:03Z 2012-10-19T23:50:03Z
This question would better suit being asked on the dsp stack I believe.
http://mathoverflow.net/questions/88796/signal-analysis-processing-textbook/89010#89010 Answer by Zarken for Signal Analysis/Processing Textbook Zarken 2012-02-20T11:02:45Z 2012-02-20T11:02:45Z
Thanks for the link Alexander i was not aware of it.
