<p>Could anyone explain in simple details what a structure function is?</p> <p>I can find the equation online however I'm really looking for examples of both the workings/steps and the plots.</p> <p>I've done my best to check this hasn't already been asked one here or else where on the web. There are plenty of pages with equation descriptions but none with step by step examples.</p> <p>I need a good explanation to implement the calculations into IDL code</p>
